For those seeking a career in pastoral ministry, a degree in Divinity is a wonderful direction in which to start that career. This particular area of study encompasses many of the other areas of study mentioned, including biblical studies and theology, as well as youth ministry, and the study of Christianity in contemporary culture.

You can obtain a Bible College degree in Divinity at the following levels:

  • Associate of Divinity
  • Bachelor of Divinity
  • Master of Divinity
  • Doctor of Divinity

Online Biblical Studies Degree or Traditional Biblical Studies Degree

Biblical Studies is basically just that – the study of the Bible. Obviously, the main curriculum will include studying the Old & New Testament, but also include courses on its effect on art, literature, the history of the bible, as well as its effect on the world.

You can obtain the following degrees in Biblical Studies.

  • Associate of Biblical Studies
  • Bachelor of Biblical Studies

Online Christian Counseling Degrees and Traditional Christian Counseling Degrees

Christian Counseling is slightly different than a regular counselor, in that you would be providing guidance using the basic principles of Christianity. This particular area of study does include the basic college curriculum (math, science, English/composition, etc.), but also includes the fundamental courses for counseling itself, as well as the procedures to counsel on various issues using the basic Christian values.

Christian Counseling Degrees can be obtained at the following levels:

  • Masters in Christian Counseling
  • Doctor of Christian Counseling
